Who writes the risk marks, and who pays for it

Best OrientDig Spreadsheet is an independent editorial guide to shopping through the OrientDig agent, written for people ordering from China for the first time. It is run by the Best OrientDig Spreadsheet editorial desk and reachable at [email protected].

We are a partner of the agent: we send readers to orientdig.com and a registration that starts here can be attributed to us. We are not OrientDig, we are not staffed by them, and we have no access to your account or your parcels.

The site sells nothing and holds no stock. Product discovery goes to the finds catalogue and ordering goes to orientdig.com.

The rules we hold ourselves to

A guide that is paid when you sign up has an obvious incentive problem. These are the things we do about it, and you can check every one of them against the pages.

Rule one

Numbers carry a source and a date

Every figure on this site is either quoted from the agent with the date we read it, or labelled as our own editorial judgement. We publish no freight rates, delivery promises or storage day counts of our own.

Rule two

We argue against ourselves where it is true

The what OrientDig is page lists the cases where you should not use an agent at all, and the mistakes page is mostly about not spending money. That is deliberate.

Rule three

Official material is used with permission

We are a partner of the agent and use its artwork and screenshots on that basis. Screenshots are dated, and where a screenshot contains a promotional amount we say it is the agent's current campaign value rather than a standing offer.

Rule four

We do not invent evidence

No made up prices, review scores, rankings, delivery times or stock levels. Where we could not verify something, it is not on the site. Our risk markers and the scorer weights are labelled as our judgement, not as measurements.

What we cannot do

We cannot see your order, cancel it, change an address, chase a courier, release a parcel from a warehouse or issue a refund. None of that is modesty, we simply have no access to any of it.

If someone contacts you claiming to be this site and asks for account details or payment, it is not us. Our only address is the one above and we never ask for credentials.

About the finds catalogue we point at

Product discovery on this site goes to the finds catalogue we maintain, holding items shown as cards by category. It held more than 20,000 listings when we counted our own index in August 2026. That is a count of catalogue entries, not a claim about stock, and it moves.

Category links are checked for a live response before publication, and rechecked when the guide is revised. The updates page logs those checks.

Corrections and takedowns

If a fact here is wrong, out of date, or if you hold rights to material we have used and want it removed, write to [email protected]. Corrections go to the front of the queue and the change is logged on the updates page.
