Getting help
Where to ask when something goes wrong
Short version: anything involving money, parcels or an actual order goes to OrientDig. Anything about how the process works, or about judging a find before you order, is what this guide is for.
We have no access to your account. We cannot see an order, chase a parcel, change an address or issue a refund, and nobody who claims otherwise on our behalf is us.
The official help centre
Eight sections, plus three articles the agent pins to the top: changing or retrieving a password, payment methods, and registering and activating an account. That top three is a decent hint about where people get stuck.
We link to the help centre index rather than to individual articles, because its article links are generated in the browser and do not have stable addresses we can test. Guessing them would produce dead links.
Which section you want
Matching the common problems to the official sections, so you are not reading all eight.
Something arrived wrong or broken
After-sales Service, and the Insurance and Compensation entry under Warehouse and after-sale.
Freight, duty or packing questions
Shipping and delivery, plus the Charges, Packaging and Customs and Taxation entries in the footer.
Cannot log in or register
Account Assets, where the pinned articles on registration and password recovery live.
Payment will not go through
The Payment group, which lists Top up and International Credit Card.
What to have ready before you ask
Support answers faster when the first message contains the whole problem. For anything about a specific item, that means the order number, the item link, and the QC photos if the parcel has reached that stage.
For a freight question, have the destination country and the weight, because those are the two required fields in the official estimator and the answer depends on both.
The four things the official home page points you at
Below its search box OrientDig puts four entry cards. Two of them are genuinely useful before a first order, one is a community invitation, and one is a promotion. Knowing which is which saves a click.

Beginner's Guide
The agent's own walkthrough. Worth reading alongside our ordering page, because it covers the parts of the interface we describe rather than screenshot.
On orientdig.com
Shipping Estimate
The freight calculator. Free, needs no order, and the single most useful thing to open before you buy anything heavy or bulky.
On orientdig.comThe community server
OrientDig runs a Discord. We do not, and we are not part of it. Treat anything posted there as community opinion rather than agent policy.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions before a first order
If the answer to your question is a number, treat every number here as quoted with a date and check the official page before you spend money.
What is OrientDig?
A shopping agent. It buys from Chinese marketplaces on your behalf, receives the goods at its own warehouse, inspects them, and ships them to you. Its home page names JD, Taobao, 1688 and Weidian as the marketplaces it covers.
Is an Orientdig Spreadsheet a file I download?
No. It is a product discovery site you browse: items shown as cards with a picture, a name, the marketplace they sit on and a link. The name is a leftover from when communities traded links in shared files years ago.
Do I have to pay everything up front?
No. Money leaves in two moments. You pay for the item and its domestic shipping when you order, and you settle the international freight when you choose a line and submit the parcel. Import duty, where your country charges it, is separate.
How long does OrientDig take?
The agent states that orders are typically fulfilled within 24 hours of payment, and that packages are sent out within 3 to 5 working days once the freight fee is settled. Transit after dispatch is up to the courier and the line. We do not publish delivery estimates of our own.
What are QC photos and do they cost anything?
Photographs of your actual item taken at the warehouse. OrientDig describes them as free HD QC pictures that let you check appearance and accessories. It is the only look at the real object before the parcel is sealed.
Can I return something?
The official Q and A says that after placing an order, and before the item leaves the warehouse for international shipment, you may contact your order agent who will assist with returns and refunds. After dispatch you are into after sales rather than returns.
Does consolidating parcels really save money?
The mechanism is real: one box means one international shipment instead of several. How much it saves depends on the weights and the line, so the honest answer is to price both in the official estimator rather than trust a percentage from a guide site.
Why is the cheapest listing usually a bad idea?
Because a listing far below the price band for the same item is normally a lighter material, a shorter size run or a different factory using the same photographs. The judging page covers how to spot it.
Can you check my order or get me a refund?
No. We are a guide, not the agent. We cannot see, change, cancel or refund any order. Everything to do with money and parcels goes through OrientDig support and your order agent.
What does this site earn from linking to OrientDig?
Links to orientdig.com are partner links, so a registration that comes from here can be attributed to us. It does not change your price, and it is why the what OrientDig is page also lists the cases where you should not use an agent at all.
Contacting us instead
Write to [email protected] if something on this site is wrong, out of date, or if you are the rights holder of material we have used and want it removed. We answer corrections first.
We do not run a Discord, we will never ask you for account details, and we have no way to help with an order even if we wanted to.
